Most of people shift their use of light weight cotton bedding to heavy weight and warm flannel bedding sheets. Cold nights mean the room should be more cosy and warm and flannel make sure that you get that one. Flannel is only fabric which stays warm even when no one is in bed. An amazing fact about flannel is their use isn’t restricted to winter only. They can be use easily in summers as well as in autumn. Most people think of flannel as a trademark of winter season but they act as insulators when there are irritating summer nights and you want to switch your air conditions on. But a thing that you should keep in mind is that do not go for very heavy weigh flannel sheet if you want to get benefit from it around whole year.
Flannel fabric is originally woven by pure cotton or wool and is highly capable to provide you a hand on ease when it comes to handle them in cold nights as compare to silk or sateen. Flannel provides excellent bedding especially during winters and caters very finely with your budget at the same time. They are relatively less expensive when compare with other fabrics in terms of durability and softness. As other fabrics in market available for bedding these sheet will never ‘pill’ even after a long time periods so will not be felt expensive while keeping this thing in mind. If your sheets get pilled, suppose, then just wash your sheets with normal water having a bit of vinegar in it and it will be as good as before.
If you are of the view that flannel is something worn by foresters or rough looking rock stars and this fabric of some scratchy material which irritates, while sleeping, then you are of wrong side. Just be sure that the sheet you are taking home is made from pure flannel or flannelette.
